usually thrown under otherkin, therians are people who feel their spirit is non-human though they understand they are human, but at times they do have sudden animalistic impulses and urges

otherkin tend say/believe they are animals and act like animals, where as therians just feel their spirit is non-human though they understand they are human, but they do have sudden animalistic impulses and urges, for example: wanting to bite into a thick slab of meat, seeing a cliff and wanting to crawl up it, growling when angry, wanting to run through a forest, and/or feeling more comfortable in a cave/forest/in the sky/in a tree..etc. but behave normally otherwise
