Labelflux is an identity with two definitions. The first one is for one whos sexuality/orientation doesn’t change, but their preferred labels/the labels they feel comfortable with do. For example, if somebody who likes everybody except men likes the label polysexual in the beginning of the day, but likes labels like sapphic for the rest of the day, that individual would be considered labelflux. Labels can fluctuate every minute, hour, day, month, or even year depending on the individual.

The second definition is that labelflux can refer to somebody who’s gender labels fluctuate but their gender stays the same. For example, If they are in between male and female but their labels can change to: non-binary, demigirl, paraboy, etc. This is also considered labelflux.

This term is similar to Abrisexual. The difference between abrisexual and labelflux is that labelflux can refer to sexuality or gender, while abrisexual is explicitly about sexuality. Someone can identify as labelflux and also identify as abrisexual as a clarifier.
