Carnalfluid is a term under the ARCsexual umbrella. It is defined by someone's ARC feelings being fluid and changing over time. It is based on genderfluidity and being genderfluid, as someone who is carnalfluid can be fluid between two or more ARC identities. These changes can be on a schedule, at random, or depending or the setting they're in and/or the individual they're with. Carnalfluid is also similar to fluidarosisexual, more commonly known as abrosexual. However, it is not that the individual's attraction to any gender has changed, but that their views on sexual situations and acts have changed.
History
The term carnalfluid was coined by Remus of the Comfort Collective, aka Fandom user Iwillregretthisuwu, in a post titled [https://web.archive.org/web/https://lgbta.wikia.org/f/p/4400000000000188182
"an idea of mine - term edition!"] on September 3, 2021. This post was quite short but was aimed toward the user's relationship with carnal identities, while not outright saying it, and that their identity was fluid between discarnal and anticarnal.
