    Internetsexual is a sexual attraction to people online, for example on social media. People who are internetsexual can have long distance relationships. In most cases, if one meets that person in real life they will no longer feel attraction towards them.

    Internetsexual isn't connected to any gender or other sexuality. One can be heterosexual, lesbian, etc. It is an extra term to identify oneself with. It may be considered a subset to aceflux or abrosexual, as one who is internetsexual may have a differing sexuality offline.

    It is similar to websexualityswap.

    Internetsexual subsets

    Aceinternetsexual: when one has no sexual attraction when online. They may be allosexual or greysexual when offline.

    Lesbinternetsexual/Sapphinternetsexual: when one is female-aligned or a woman and sexually likes women/female-aligned people while online. They may be straight, multisexual, or asexual when offline.

    Vincinternetsexual: when one is male-aligned or a man and sexually likes men/male-aligned people while online. They may be straight, multisexual, or asexual when offline.

    Enbinternetsexual: when one is on the non-binary spectrum and sexually likes other non-binary people while online. They may be trixic, toric, multisexual, asexual, etc when offline.

    Heterointernetsexual: when one is attracted to the opposite/dissimilar genders when online. They may be gay, multisexual, or asexual when offline.

    Abrointernetsexual/Acefluxinternetsexual: when ones sexuality constantly changes while online. One may have a stable sexuality while offline.

    Biinternetsexual: when one is sexually attracted to two or more genders online. They may be attracted to less than two offline, or be some other variation of multisexual when offline.

    Polyinternetsexual: when one is sexually attracted to three or more (but not all) genders online. They may be attracted to less than three offline, or be some other variation of multisexual when offline.

    Omniinternetsexual: when one is sexually attracted to all genders online. They may have a gender preference, or be attracted to each gender differently. They may not be attracted to all offline, or be some other variation of multisexual when offline.

    Paninternetsexual: when one is sexually attracted to all genders online, and have no preference in gender/is genderblind. They may not be attracted to all offline, or be some other variation of multisexual when offline.

    Flags

    The first two internetsexual flags were coined by unknown users at unknown times.

    The third flag was coined by a user going by Ally on January 8th, 2021. Green represents agender/genderless individuals and the asexual spectrum, yellow-ish green represents xenic/anonbinary people and the greyasexual spectrum, white represents multigenders/fluid genders and abrosexuals, light blue represents masculine genders and allosexuals, dark blue represents men and aceflux people, dark pink represents women and other forms of fluid sexualities, medium pink represents feminine genders and bonding over the internet, and light pink represents gender non-conforming/pronoun non-conforming people and closeness/connection.
