You need to know that PNC people are a minority, so there is a good chance that you will be right when you call a girl a "she". In fact, some PNC individuals do identify with pronouns commonly associated with their gender, but in that case they identify by more than one set of pronouns like a man with he/she. Your example is like asking if a guy has a girlfriend rather than stating that guys need girlfriends as if you do not expect other sexualities.
