Orchidian refers to an agender or genderless individual who is attracted to women and men. This attraction can be exclusive or not.
It can be considered an aponian or agenamoric orientation.
History
The term was coined by Tumblr user Genderless-Gibberish in response to an anonymous ask on January 30, 2020.[1] The term comes from the orchid flower.
Flag
The flag was designed by flowerfallsyndrome with the symbol coming from mogai-moth. It was designed on or before February 1, 2020.[2]
The alternate flags were created by FANDOM user Clear.Skyes on Janurary 28, 2021. The alternate flag design was made to look like sapphic or achillean flags, with a pastel purple or shades of purple to represent the attraction to men and women, the orchid to represent the love for men and women, and the white finally to represent agender individuals.
