**Numbergender** is a mathgender describing a gender experience related to numbers or mathematical equations. It can also be a gender that revolves around all numbers in general, like arithmogender. Numbergenders can be positive, negative, or neutral. Numbergender can feel very organized and orderly but not always or for everyone.

## History and Flag

Numbergender was coined by Tumblr user numberkincutie and posted by Tumblr user mogai-archive on or before July 25, 2014.^{[1]}^{[2]}

The first proposed numbergender flag was created by FANDOM user Zer0Rebel4 on January 25, 2021. The use of lavender in the flag represents algebra, the grey trigonometry, the white geometry, the black mathematics and numbers as a whole, the green statistics and probability, and the pink calculus. The symbol in the middle is the ∀ symbol, which represents "for all" or "for any."

An alternate numbergender flag was created by FANDOM user Bluesprucedude on May 16, 2021. The hexcodes of the two stripes of the alternate flag are inspired by two of the simplest equations in mathematics:

- The quantity 0.999 followed by an infinite string of nines is equivalent to one, or 1=0.99999999999999999, resulting in the hexcode #099999 or turquoise.
- The Pythagorean theorem, or a
^{2}+b^{2}=c^{2}, where the value of "a" is one (a=1), as the first letter in the alphabet, and so on, resulting in the hexcode #122232 or dark turquoise.

The use of the equals or = sign represents both equations and inclusivity.
