Mothmangender is a gender connected to the North American cryptid Mothman, or simply wants to incorporate the cryptid story into their gender to better understand their identity. This can manifest as a kingender, but it isn't necessarily one. It was originally coined with neurodivergent people in mind, but it is not exclusive.
History
It was coined by Twitter user @Catboy_Naturae on July 6th, 2020.[1]
