    The irritugender flag.

Irritugender is a gender identity where one feels that the whole concept of gender does not apply to them. They have a gender, but it is unrelated to any gender quality, such as masculinity or femininity (though some may consider irritugender outherine). It is characterised by a disconnect from one's gender, feeling like they have no place for it, and being unsure what gender they really are.

Irritugender can be combined with any other relevant gender; for example, an irritugirl would feel like they had a feminine gender, but feel disconnected from it due to feeling disconnected from gender as a whole.

It is similar, but not the same as, aegogender, cassgender, greygender, and genderblank. While aegogender is feeling disconnected from one's own gender, irritugender is feeling disconnected from the idea of gender as a construct, and/or not understanding it.

    Irrituflux

Irrituflux is a gender related to irritugender. An individual who is irrituflux would feel that how much gender applies to them changes. Similar to irritugender, irrituflux can be combined with any other relevant gender (e.g. irritugirlflux), or stand on its own.

    History

The term was coined by Wiki user Meganium39 in a blog post on February 18, 2022.[1]

    Flag

    Etymology
