    The Fenby Flag

Fenby, also known as femenby, finby, femby, finby, or finenby, is a gender identity for those who identify as feminine and non-binary. It is not to be confused with non-binary woman, feminenby, and girlby, as fenby is not necessarily connected to womanhood.

Fenbies may be fluid between a feminine identity and any non-binary identity, or they may identify as both simultaneously, as if it is a combination or two identities. The feminine and non-binary genders may be fused together into one gender.

This can also be used as a term to describe non-binary individuals with a feminine gender presentation, regardless of whether or not their gender itself is feminine.

Femmenby is a femme-specific term for non-binary individuals.

    The masculine counterpart is menby.

    History & Etymology

Femenby was originally coined as early as February 3, 2019 in Tumblr blog beyond-mogai-pride-flags.[1] A similar term called femmenby or femby existed before,[2][3] it got more popular starting in 2018.[4] Pridebois designed a specific flag for nonbinary fems in January 2019.[5][6]

Fenby was re-coined by FANDOM user Unfunny person420 on March 14, 2021. The flag was created by the same person on the same day. "Fenby" is a combination of "feminine" and "enby."
