    The Menby Flag

Menby, minenby, mascby, or minby, is a gender identity for those who identify with a masculine gender and are also non-binary. It is not to be confused with non-binary man and enboy, because menby is disconnected from manhood, it is only masculine-aligned.

Menbies may fluctuate between a masculine identity and any non-binary identity, or they may identify as both simultaneously, as if it is a combination or two identities. The masculine and non-binary genders may be fused together into one gender.

This can also be used as a term to describe non-binary individuals with a masculine gender presentation, regardless of whether or not their gender itself is masculine.

    The feminine counterpart is fenby.

    History & Etymology

Menby was coined by FANDOM user Unfunny person420 (as a masculine counterpart to fenby) on March 14, 2021. The flag was created on the same day by the same person. "Menby" is a combination of "men" and "enby".

Someone registered the word mascby in 2020.[1]

The term "menbies" was commonly used before as a disparaging slang targeting enbies who were AMAB. Some may reclaim it as a self-identifier in that sense.[2][3]

White represents lack of gender if the non-binary identity is gender or another type of genderless identity. Green represents when the genders mix. An alternate sun-and-star menby flag was created by FANDOM user Milky jirin aeris on March 14, 2021. The sun and star emblems symbolize masculine genders and non-binary genders. Gray represents genderlessness, maverique, and undefined genders. Yellow represents non-binary genders, mint green represents when non-binary and masculine genders mix or fluctuate, and pale sky blue represents masculine genders.

An updated version of the menby flag was created by FANDOM user Unfunny person420 on May 8, 2021. Yellow represents the non-binary gender that someone identifies with, and the intensity of it. White represents genderlessness, outhrinity, xeninity, and other things that cannot be defined by femininity, masculinity, or androgyny. Light green represents when the genders fuse. Dark blue represents the masculine gender that someone identifies with, and the intensity of it. It also represents the disconnection to manhood.
