Aqueerplatonic (shortened to aqp), aqplatonic, aquaplatonic or aquasiplatonic is a queerplatonic orientation defined by a lack of queerplatonic attraction. Aqueerplatonic experiences may also include: not wanting to have a QPR, being indifferent towards aqueerplatonicity, or being repulsed by it. Queerplatonic attraction is defined as the desire to have a relationship (with another specific individual) that bends the societal rules for distinguishing platonicity and romance. An aqueerplatonic person doesn't get squishes (qp version of a crush).
This label is commonly used by aroace individuals who aren't interested in forming this kind of close bonds, but anyone can identify as aqueerplatonic if they wish to specify their queerplatonic orientation.
