Unigenderfluid is a term to describe one whose gender is fluid, but who never experiences multiple genders at once. It is a specific subset of being genderfluid for those who never experience being multigender, in the sense that they never experience more than one gender at a given time.
It is different to monogender as one still experiences multiple genders over a given timeframe, they just do not experience multiple genders simultaneously at any one time.
One may feel that they shift or switch from one gender to another, or one may feel that one's gender gradually changes overtime, but without ever experiencing multiple genders simultaneously. One may experience any types of genders over a given timeframe.
History and Flag
The term unigenderfluid was coined by FANDOM user Contie, August 10th 2021.[1] The unigenderfluid flag was created by the same user, August 17th 2021. The different shades of purple represent fluidity, green represents one experiencing a single gender at any given time, and white represents the spectrum of genders that one may experience over a given timeframe.
