Trendercoric is a coric xenogender related to trendercore. It is based on the reclamation of the term "transtrender" which has been used to demean non-binary, xenic, and gender non-conforming individuals, neopronoun users, non-dysphoric trans individuals, and many others. Trendercore as an aesthetic revolves around bright colors, self-love, inclusivity, and the use of things such as pride flags, pronoun pins, dyed hair, and other alternative aesthetics.
Trenderpunkic
Trenderpunkic is a subcategory of trendercoric which is related to trenderpunk, an aesthetic where trendercore is combined with more punk aesthetics/imagery. This can be similar to genderf*ck/genderpunk and anarchogender, but is differentiated from them by the express rejection of transmedicalist views of gender and gender expression.
History
Both trendercoric and trenderpunkic were first coined on January 16, 2020 by Soff Moff (genderless-by-design) on Tumblr.
Flag
The first flag was created by the coiner at the same time as the term itself.
The second flag was made on April 10, 2021 by FANDOM user Snailrat. The stripes in order from top to bottom represent pink for female and feminine genders, yellow for xenogenders, white for gender non-conformity, green for neutral and null genders, and blue for male and masculine genders. The purple heart in the center stands for androgyny and a blend of gender stereotypes, with the shape in reference to FANDOM user Pluralanomaly's coric flag.
The third flag includes these same meanings, expect without the purple design in the center.
The first trenderpunkic flag has similar meanings to the trendercoric flag, but in place of the white stripe, there are two purple stripes, which still represent androgyny, and a black stripe, which represents the darker aspects of punk culture and aesthetics. The white heart in the center carries on the symbolism of gender non-conformity and the shape present within FANDOM user Pluralanomaly's coric flag.
The second trenderpunkic flag includes these same meanings, except without the white design in the center.
