Treegender is a type of xenogender in which ones gender is related to trees or aspects of trees. It can be used as an umbrella term or as a gender itself. For example, one could be treegender and specifically identify with pine trees, or could define themself as pinegender and categorize it under treegender. Another example could be that someones gender feels like parts of a tree, such as branches, leaves, roots, bark, etc.
Someone who is treegender may choose to use the pronouns tree/trees/treeself or pronouns relating to a specific tree such as pine/pines/pineself.

In the alternate flags made by Scourgeface, pink represents flowering trees, green represents the leaves of a tree, yellow represents trees that change color with seasons, and brown represents the trunk of a tree. The version with silhouettes of trees represent the many types of trees that treegender can be.
History
It is unknown the exact time treegender may have first came into thought, however at the very least was thought of by virgo and Scourgeface independently of one another in January 2021.
