For example, a [[Non-Binary|non-binary]] individual may feel somewhat unsure of their identity or unable to explore it properly due to being forced into a strictly gendered lifestyle. Or someone questioning their sexuality but not being able to consider all genders due to not being exposed to certain genders. Even being unsure of your identity because you can't find an accurate term for it would make someone canoic.

Specific reasons as to why someone may be unsure of their identity can vary from individual to individual, but those who are unable to explore it due to limitations in life, would all come under this term.
This can be used as a prefix to go alongside the specific part of a person's identity that it applies to, such as
