Simigender represents individuals who don't necessarily feel like they are completely binary trans, but prefer to be perceived as the binary gender opposite their AGAB rather than as cisgender or non-binary.
Some examples of this are:
- An AMAB person who does not identify as binary male or female but chooses to present outwardly as female, leaving the more nuanced details of their identity to be shared only with the people they choose.
- Someone who is AFAB and does not fully feel they are a binary transgender man, but prefers to be referred to and perceived as male rather than female in the majority of interactions.
