Sensual attraction, also known as Sensorial Attraction is a form of tertiary attraction typically felt by a-spec individuals. It is defined as the desire to know another person by using one's senses, particularly through touch. This is not an explicitly sexual form of physical touch, it doesn’t have to be romantic in nature either. Sensuality involves pleasure from the senses. It usually involves non-sexual acts such as cuddling, kissing, or giving or receiving a massage.
Some people may get sensual pleasure from non-human objects, such as pillows, blankets, or pets. In which case it's important to remember that one can receive pleasure usually associated with a form of attraction without actually feeling that form of attraction.
A sensual crush is known as a lush, although the term is not widely used. One who does not experience sensual attraction may identify as asensual.
