Sapphogender or sapphigender is an affinative condigender and orientationgender, similar to sapphicgender but specifically sentiogender, describing a non-binary person who feels that they are sapphic/wlw in some way, but otherwise feels no other attachments or alignment to femaleness and/or femininity. They only experiences femaleness or anything of the like through their attraction to women/woman-aligned/feminine-aligned individuals. They may be unaligned or other-aligned, but they do not feel any attachments to womanhood outside of this specific attraction. This term can be used alongside any other gender identities.
History
Sapphogender was coined by Tumblr user momma-mogai-sphinx on March 5, 2019 alongside achillegender.[1]
