Puzzlegender is a xenogender where one feels their gender needs to be "pieced together" like a puzzle, that it has missing pieces or fits together like a jigsaw puzzle.
A second, more defined but similar definition is that it is a gender for genderhoarders where each gender they hoard feels like a piece of a puzzle, connecting with other pieces. As more and more pieces are added, the puzzle feels more complete. If a gender is taken away, the puzzle feels more incomplete and so does the person's overall sense of gender.
Puzzlegender can be combined with other genders to specify one's gender experience (puzzleboy, puzzlegirl, puzzlenonbinary, etc.).
History
The original term was coined by an unknown person, but the flag was designed on July 31, 2016 by Pride-Flags on DeviantArt. The second, more elaborate definition for the term puzzlegender was coined by wiki user EnbyDuckling on February 12th, 2021.
The puzzleboy, puzzlegirl, and puzzlenonbinary flags were all designed by Pride-Flags on DeviantArt on September 17, 2016.
Flag
The second puzzlegender flag was coined by Cinnamonrollie on February 13th, 2021. The blocks of color represent pieces to a puzzle, and how they fit together to make one whole.
