Preaplatonic is an identity on the apl-spec identity. It refers to somone who mightmay feel a platonic attraction to someone, but when they:

#Don't see them after, they do not feel it (theyThey may feel it only when they physically meet them).
#ForThey may only feel it for a really short amountperiod of time (for example, it canmight beonly justlast for somea few minutes or hours).
#It was just a quick thought that vanished afterwards.
#They werelost attractedthat attraction to them before but they aren't anymore (it can be due to thetheir personality of the person, their way of speaking, or more)etc

This may overlap with Gray-platonic and other platonic identities, but this microlabel is specific for peoplefolkel who feel platonic attraction but for a really short time or they may identify with the other definitions of this term. It can also overlap with "jump" and "spike", but the thought can remain for a couple hours or more.

Preaplatonic can be an orientation on its own or it can be combined with other platonic orientations, such as: panplatonic (prea-panplatonic), meaning that one may experience platonic attraction foras adescribed really short amount of time or their platonic attraction will fade after they do not see themabove, butand when they do it's regardless of gender, and all genders.
