Paracisgender is a combination of Paragender and Cisgender. Paracisgender individuals identify mostly with their birth-assigned gender, but not entirely. The cisgender part makes up 51-99% of their gender. The other 1-49% can be any other gender or combination of genders.
It can be viewed as subset to Paragender.
A similar term is Intragender (Modality). The difference is that Paracisgender individuals mostly identify with their cisgender, whereas Intragender only identify partially.
History and Flag
The term paracisgender was originally coined by Nel44 on June 1st, 2022. The flag has the exact same stripes as the paragender flag. The grey colors present the colors of the cisgender flag. [1]
