Ouranian (pronounced "ore-ayn-ee-an") is a non-binary xenogender in the celestial gender system. Is a gender that is both plutoian and mercurian. Someone who is ouranian can feel both genders at the same time, feeling a connection to both soft gendered celestial energy as well as a connection to the void, or they may be fluid between the two. They may feel different amounts of each gender at different times. Ouranian can also be considered the demigender form of mercurian.
History
Ouranian was not one of the original genders included in the celestial system. It was added in a rework of the system by Tumbr user System-Lgbt, in October of 2018[1]. The name comes from the god Ouranos, which is what Uranus’s name is also based on. The flag is based off the colors of Uranus.
