Mirrorsexual or Reflectsexual is a label for people who mirror the sexual orientation of someone in relation, important to that they have a platonic relationship with, a romantic relationship, or other types of relationships. There are several ways one could be sexualmirror.

    • Coming out as gay after a friend came out as one.
    • Mirroring an idol they admire.
    • Mirroring the gender of their romantic/platonic partner/friend

After breaking the bond/relationship with the person who was mirrored, some mirrorsexuals may become "mirrorless" until they find someone else of high importance to them. Other mirrorsexuals, may stay with mirroring the sexuality.

Hemi-Mirror, is where some is struggling to be accepting of the sexuality they are mirroring, despite it fitting well, the struggle could be from homophobia, household environment, dysphoria, trauma, etc.

Demi-Mirror term, is when someone feels not fully/whole of the sexuality they are mirroring.

Cracked is a term used when someone feeling for the sexuality mirroring isn't the same, yet they don't wish to leave it. People with a cracked mirror might get mirror-fragments.

Breaking, when someone is losing connection/feelings to sexuality they been mirror, some people may just stay with a "cracked" mirror, other might drop the sexuality entirely/replace it.

Restoration, when someone who has lost connection/cracked to the sexuality they been mirror, gets strong connection/feelings for it again.

Not-quite-fixed, is a term where someone experiences breaking but later on went through restoration, but something happened that caused them to get a similar or opposite of the sexuality they were mirroring.

Mirrorless is a term used when a mirrorsexual no longer is mirroring someone, some mirrorsexual might feel a void inside them, feeling of discomfort, or might not even feel anything it all, all depending on the person.
