Mesrien, or Jupiteric, refers to someone who is mspec straight. It may be used as shorthand, an umbrella term, or just as a label of its own. It is considered a companion to terms like solian, lunian, and stellian. Someone who is mesrien may identify with both straight and bi, pan, ply, omni, or simply as mspec.
History
Mesrien was created by Tumblr user kenochoric on July 20th, 2021.[1] The flag was said to be made as a contrast to the stellian flag, along with influences from his transhet flag. The term mesrien was likely made to be similar to terms like mesque and mesquin, whereas jupiteric is a reference to the planet Jupiter. Similarly to solian, lunian, and mesque, mesrien is a part of the astral alignments, which is a large collection of mspec terms.[2]
