    The Matergender flag.

    Matergender is a type of feminine-aligned aesthetigender characterized by feelings of parental love, affection and protection. Someone who identifies as Matergender doesn't need to have children of their own or identify as 100% female, and may feel that their desire to comfort and protect is inextricably connected to their gender, gender identity and gender expression.

    Matergender can be fluid/flux, be used as a gender all it's own, or in conjunction with other genders.

    Patergender is the masculine equivalent; with Parensgender being the neutral or non-binary equivalent.


    Flag

    A white shield with a red heart signifies the parental feelings of love and the urge to protect and comfort. The descending order of pink stripes signifies femininity and motherhood, along with feelings of warmth, comfort, and affection.
