Luciolean, also known as fireflygender, is a xenogender where one's gender is small, but bright. In that sense, it is not a kingender, but luciolean can also be a xenogender connected to fireflies and various aesthetics associated with them, and in that sense, it could also be a faunagender, a kingender, and/or an aesthetigender.
History
The idea for and definition of the term was coined by FANDOM user Vic978 (now KadeButton22) on February 26, 2021, and the term luciolean was coined for it by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs on the same day. Reign of the breadsticcs also designed the flag for it on the same day.
Etymology
The term luciolean comes from the French "luciole", meaning firefly.
