Kayfabic describes someone who over performs or over-sells their gender. Kayfabic people may be closeted and over emphasize their assigned gender at birth or another gender or may be especially flamboyant in their gender presentation.
Kayfabic can also apply to professional wrestling-related kingenders, professional wrestling scenegenders, or anyone whose gender is connected to professional wrestling aesthetics.

The term kayfabe originates from professional wrestling culture.[1] It is a code word for maintaining the perceived "reality" or unscripted perception of professional wrestling within the direct or indirect presence of the general public. It is both a noun and a verb.
