Kawaiicoric is a coric xenogender related to kawaiicore. It is based on the staples of the aesthetic which includes cute childish things, name brand characters (such as Sanrio and Carebears), pastel colors (mainly pink), anime, desserts, and delicate imagery.
History
The term was coined around the timeframe of March 22, 2019. At this time, the creator has not been confirmed to be, but is believed to be tumblr user mogai-sissy.[1]
Flag
The Kawaiicoric flag was created by user CrystalOwl on February 5, 2022. The pastel colors represent those often found in kawaiicore images. The colors were put in rainbow order and, while this was not intentional, is a reference to the rainbow flag that represents the whole LGBTQIA+ community.
