The Hemi-Bisexual Flag Without Noise Filter

This term has no relation to "Semi-Bisexual".

Hemi-Bisexual, also known as "Media-Bisexual" ("Media" stands for "half" in spanish,) is a term where an individual considers themself bisexual but has less attraction sexually or romantically (or any form of tertiary attraction) to one of the genders they are attracted to. They are still willing to have a relationships/feelings for, and might have even have visualize themselves in a relationship with someone of that gender.

Due to fear, discomfort of sorts, or any feeling that makes the individual be hesitant to be in a relationship with/have feelings for said gender might have been caused by household environment, homophobia, dysphoria, trauma, etc, varying from person to person, and it might not even be the primary source as to why.

Another possible reason for someone idetifying as hemi-bisexual is that not everyone who identifies as bisexual may feel comfortable with terms such as biromantic, bisexual lesbian, biromantic homosexual, etc. However, hemi-bisexual can be combined with other terms.

History

Hemi-bisexual was coined by Discord user (and FANDOM user) Musephile on the 8th of June in 2021.

Flags

The hemi-bisexual flag was created by Musephile. It is a more cooler tone from the original bisexual flag, the cooler tone and noise filter indicating the "feeling of hesitation of sorts" and along the "desire of wanting to be open about it."

An alternate hemi-bisexual flag was designed by FANDOM user Uncertified Funny on June 11th of 2021. It has no confirmed meaning.
