Furrygender is a xenogender that has multiple definitions:
- A gender that can only be described as one's fursona
- A gender identity related to (enthusiasm for) anthropomorphic mammals
- A person dedicates their life into being a furry, considering themselves as an animal and wanting to incorporate that into their identity
This gender can be a kingender related to one's fursona, but does not have to be.
Similar terms include sparklefurgender
History
This term has been coined twice, presumably without knowledge of the other. The first time this term was coined on December 18, 2017 by beyond-batpanda-pride-flags on Tumblr.[1] The second furry gender was coined on July 4, 2018 by gaymogai on Tumblr.[2]

- The last purple stripe represents hybrid and original species fursonas
Controversy
It is possible that this term was coined satirically, but the gender identity was reblogged by serious MOGAI blogs[3] and may have been reclaimed as of now.
