Fictivegender is a neurogender for people of systems. This term is for when who is in a system that has fictive/fictional introjects, and the presence of the fictive affects how the person perceives their gender. This term can also also go hand-in-hand with sysfluid or any other system-exclusive gender.
This term falls under the Effective umbrella. Similar terms are listed in the Tubuhive umbrella, the Pluralive umbrella, and/or the the Divinive umbrella.
History
The term was coined on June 7th, 2018 by tumblr user Freddyisace, and was recoined by Fandom user Syscoric on March 9th, 2021.
Flag
The flag was made by Syscoric in February of 2021. The grey stripes represent the foggy memory associated with dissociation, the orange to represent mental illness, and the faded blue to represent the seemingly calm state someone is in while in a dissociative state. This flag isn't available.
The current flag was made by FANDOM user Ariathatsme on May 17, 2021. The meaning goes as follows: purple for plurality, yellow for being a fictive, grey for exclusivity to those who are neurodivergent, and white for acceptance.
