Fictigender is a term for when one's gender is connected to a fictional character(s), a fictional species, or concepts from a work of fiction. One may feel like genders in the real world do not apply one's self, because they identify as a fictional character or species. It can be both used as an umbrella term for a subgroup of xenogenders, or as a standalone term.
As an umbrella term, fictigender includes kingenders, but do not have to be a kingender.
