Eligeresexual is an identity for people who feel that they can choose if they feel sexual attraction to certain people or not. For example, someone who is eligeresexual may be feeling asexual, but then when someone makes a sexual advancement towards them, they "choose" to feel attraction towards them for the benefit of the sexual relationship. Another example is where someone focuses on another person a lot, and chooses to feel sexual attraction to them because they want a sexual relationship with that person.
People who are eligeresexual feel that their sexual attraction is something that they can choose where it directs to, and choose whether to feel sexual attraction or not. The romantic counterpart is eligereromantic.
This is similar to but not the same as lovesexual.
