Dorigender is a modegender and musicgender that feels bittersweet and cool, or relates to the Dorian mode. One may feel that their gender can only be described using the Dorian mode. Alternatively, one's gender might change and/or fluctuate while listening to music that uses the Dorian scale, or while playing an instrument in the Dorian scale.

The term was coined by Tumblr user synpa-tee on July 27, 2021.[1]
Flag
The dorigender flag was created by Wiki user DentalFricative on August 1, 2021.[2] There are five stripes: a light turquoise stripe, a pink stripe, a yellow stripe, a blue stripe, and a green stripe. All colors are muted to represent how it's still very happy, but not quite the happiest.
