    The codecgender flag.

Codecgender is a digital xenogender which is, or resembles a codec (which is a device or program that compresses data to enable faster transmission and decompresses received data.) It could be a gender that feels as though it compresses and decompresses, a kingender, or any other examples of a gender that related to codecs. It can be mixed with any other identity as well (codecboy, codecgirl, etc.)

    History

The term seems to have first appeared on October 13, 2019, on the digigender page of the LGBTA Wiki.

    Flag

The flag was created on April 16, 2021, by Fandom user PastelGalaxy12. Blue represents a main color of codec, lavender represents another main codec color, purple represents switching, white represents digital, light pink represents cycle, and black represents digigender.
