A Bisexual Gay (or Bi-Gay for short) is someone who is on the split attraction model, and is both Bisexual and Homoromantic. They have fluid sexual attraction to two or more genders but are only romantically attracted to men. They may find themselves sexually attracted to women, but could never picture themselves in a relationship with one, putting more emphasis on their attraction to men, though this varies from person to person. The opposite version of this term would be Bisexual Lesbian.
A more controversial use of the label is to describe a bisexual who isn’t on the SAM, with a lean in their attraction toward men.
Controversy
Many people see the label as “contradicting” or both homophobic and biphobic. Many exclusionists (and some Inclusionists) feel that Gay isn’t an umbrella term, and that treating it like such hurts the community and contributes to gay mlm erasure.
