Bellussexual is a micro-label on the asexual spectrum defined as one who has interest in certain sexual actions, the aesthetic of sexual relationships, and/or aspects of sexual relationships, but does not feel sexual attraction and does not want a sexual relationship.
The romantic counterpart to bellussexual is bellusromantic.
History
It is unknown who coined this term, but bellussexual was coined before October 20, 2017.[1]
Flag
The primary bellussexual flag was designed by Wikia FANDOM user LovingInsomniac on October 16, 2020.[2] The flag has no confirmed meaning but is presumably inspired by the bellusromantic flag.
The alternate flag was designed by Wikia FANDOM user Lovenderr on November 15, 2020. The flag is a simplified version of the primary flag.[3]
Etymology
The prefix "bellus-" comes from the Latin adjective "bellus", meaning "pretty".
