    Apresromantic is a romantic orientation on the aromantic spectrum. Someone who is apresromantic experiences romantic attraction only after another form of attraction is felt. It is possible that the original attraction fades and/or is replaced by romantic attraction. This is different from demiromantic, as when somebody is demiromantic, it can be any type of bond with the subject that the individual feels romantic attraction, but when someone is apresromantic, that romantic attraction only happens when a type of attraction occurs from that individual, and may or may not be reciprocated.

    The sexual equivalent is apressexual.

    Etymology

    Apresromantic comes from the French après meaning "after" or "later".
