History
The term voidmasc and its variants were coined by Tumblr user welcometojoelsvoid on January 2, 2019 to describe his gender identity.[1]
Flag
The voidmasc flags were designed by Tumblr user welcometojoelsvoid on January 6, 2019. The flags' colors do not have an official meaning, but it is described that the blues and greys are like fading and intersecting into each other like the gender identity kind of dances along the lines of male but not quite.[1]
