Virtuamory is a term under the non-monogamous umbrella in which one desires to be with multiple partners online, while not having this polyamorous desire offline. Virtuamorous relationships can be romantic, sexual, or both; they may also be based on tertiary attraction (such as queerplatonic relationships.)

Virtuamory is not considered cheating, because all parties are aware of all other parties involved and consent to their involvement. Virtuamory can be as simple as an open relationship online, it can be three or more people who are all in an online relationship with each other, or something similar.

They may also be internetsexual, websexualityswap, or something similar, however they do not have to be.
