Vegaplatonic (or vegapla) is an aplatonic spectrum label exclusive to people with avoidant personality disorder (abbreviated as AvPD).
Vegaplatonic is related to Reciproromantic (and other recipro terms) wherein one cannot feel platonic attraction until they know that the other person(s) feels platonic attraction for them.
This is distinct from recipro labels because vega individuals need to be sure of reciprocity due to their AvPD. They also may need to be extremely and unusually confident that the other person’s feelings are real and lasting due to intense fear of rejection and feelings of inadequacy.
Vegaplatonic is a label for individuals with avoidant personality disorder who can’t feel platonic attraction to someone unless they’re completely sure that the person already feels platonic attraction towards them; at which point, the vega person can feel platonic attraction to the other person. Vegaplatonic people need to be certain of this attraction before feeling attraction themself because of the severe fear of rejection and feelings of inadequacy characteristic of people with AvPD.

Etymology
The prefix "Vega" was chosen for this group of terms due to its visibility in the night sky, as visibility is the main component in vega attraction. Additionally, it was chosen because star imagery is commonly used in relation to AvPD.
