Someone who is [[polysexual]] polyromantic [[Gay|homo]][[Alterous Attraction|alterous]] would not be consider varioriented but would be variangled because their tertiary attraction does not "match" their other attractions. Someone who is [[Greyasexual|grey]]-[[Straight|hetero]]<nowiki/>alterous and biplatonic would be considered variangled (regardless of their sexual and romantic orientation) because two of their tertiary orientations do not "match".
