    Basic information

Hi, we're the Otherside System. We are a neurotraumagenic system (traumagenic, neurogenic, fluctugenic, moodgenic and paragenic to be precisely) that is somewhere between a Plural-Singlet and a median system, although we keep moving to the median side. Our body age is minor (somewhere between 13 and 17, we prefer not to say it exactly). We're also neurodivergent and many of us are alterhuman and/or otherkin. We will sometimes use I/me instead of we/us while refering to our system. That doesn't mean that we don't recognize our headmates, but it just means that we're sometimes too less seperate to be really plural, which makes us uncomfortable with using plural pronouns sometimes.

    Some more stuff

    • Pronouns: xe/xem, ve/vir, ae/aer or he/him on the right days and for the right headmates, but they/them if you don't know our current pronouns.
    • tone indicators: yes, we need those in most cases. (however, if you can't use them for a reason, that's of course okay)
    • We are currently okay with both 'headmates' and 'alters', but we aren't okay with 'alter egos' or 'personalities'.
    • We do not have a preference between 'system' and 'collective', although we will use 'system' for ourselves.
    • We also don't have a preference between 'innerworld' and 'headspace', and we will probably use the two simultaneously.
    • We're completely okay with queer as a reclaimed slur, but we aren't comfortable with most other (reclaimed) slurs.

headmates (we will put more information here soon)

Note to this section: we have been a system for quite some time, but due to recent stress and mood swings, our system has changed. Because of that, we also got more headmates, but we aren't sure about much information of them. Therefore, a part of our system isn't noted here yet. We will complete this section when we know more about them.

    Specific D.N.I.

We might ask you(&) not to interact with us if you(&) fall within the D.N.I.-criteria noted above, or for other reasons. If we do so, please

    • do not reply on our posts.
    • do not ping us, unless we asked you(&) to do so.
    • do not leave a message on our talk page.
    • do not participate in discussions we are very active in.

However, we are still okay if you:

    • thank for our posts.

    • talk to our other headmates, if the D.N.I. is specified for only a few headmates.

(We made this D.N.I. less forced than those of many other users, because we do not think it's completely fair to block users off from many possibilities on this wiki. However, when we ask for a D.N.I. with you(&), please do not interact with us on the four ways noted above)

(as a side note, we will fully respect it when you(&) ask for a full D.N.I. with us, even while we don't give those to other users)
