Unapologender or unapolohoarder is a xenic multigender that plays a much bigger role in who the individual is than for most, which makes anything relating to themselves, automatically related to one's gender and vice versa. For example if a gender is described as "happy, bright and entertaining" and one's personality is very similar to that, then one would probably use this gender, because one's gender is closely related to oneself and who that individual is. This makes one's gender related to one's interests/comforts as well. This gender is sometimes best described the way one would describe themselves.
This identity is not exclusive to neurodivergent people, but made with them in mind.
History
The term was coined by Twitter user t34bythes34 on August 1, 2021. The name "unapologender" is based on the phrase "unapologetically me".
Flag
The unapologender flag was created by Twitter user t34bythes34 on August 1, 2021. Yellow represents genders that give one joy, white represents genders based on anything, purple represents having multiple genders, pink represents genders one feels comfortable identifying with, light blue represents neurodivergence and xenogenders, and blue represents strong connection to one's gender.
The alternate flag was made by Tumblr user felix-makes-flags on December 11th, 2021.[1]
