The original torenflexible flag was created by imoga-pride on Tumblr on December 25th, 2018 by reversing the torensexual flag, created by nblmgalaxy and wedontcareaboutyourbinary, and combining it with the [[femaric]] flag, created by goodpositivitylgbt and editing the colors. An alternate torenflexible flag was created by GhostOrchidGynoid on Reddit on December 31st, 2020 by turning the original torensexual flag into a five-stripe design and combining it with the [[womasexual]] flag, which was flipped upside down to represent attraction to women that is not necessarily exclusive and also to evoke the design of the [[abrosexual]] flag.
