    I don't understand the difference between gender and identity. For me, gender is how you define yourself, what you refer to. So, it's pretty close to gender identity for me and I don't really understand why there is a difference, like here, there are two different page categories.

    Maybe it's because I make the difference between a person's sex and gender, as sex is your biological gender (boy, girl, intersex, trans, etc.), and gender is which gender you refer to. I don't mean to offend anyone of course, I'm just trying to understand why there are two categories for two things that, for me, seems to be the same.

    Maybe it's because I'm French and that, in english, sex doesn't mean exactly the same than in french (maybe not the same shades).
