Trans-Exclusionary Homosexual Males (TEHMs) refers to transphobic gay men that justify their transphobia under the guise of protecting LGB individuals.[1]
TEHMs are well known for being close allies with TERFs, and most often target gay trans men. They are part of the anti-trans gender-critical movement.[2]
Discrimination against transmasculine individuals.
The main belief of TEHMs is that transmasculine people, especially gay transmasculine people, are women that have a fetish for gay men. Many will site "autohomoeroticism", a fake paraphilia created by Ray Blanchard to label trans men as mentally ill women with a fetish for gay men.
Many will also claim that transmascs are fujoshis[3], a Japanese term for straight women interested in romantic relationships between men, and some also claim that transmascs have autoandrophilia[4], another fake paraphilia by Ray Blanchard created to label trans men as women with fetishes for pretending to be men.
