Although it is used in a dehumanizing and fetishizing manner as a transphobic, altersexist, or intersexist slur, some have chosen to reclaim it, particularly transmasculine people who want to keep their breasts (TM-Altpect), intersex folk with masculine appearances and breasts, and/or AMAB men or non-binary people who want breast augmentation (amabris).
