Stormgender is a non-binary xenogender where someone’s gender feels connected to storms and rainy weather. It was made with neurodivergent people in mind; however, it is not exclusive to them.

The first alternate flag was coined before the primary flag by the discord user TheonetrueRick#3397 at an unspecified point. It is described as having muted colors to represent how rain often is often depicted or how landscapes look when it rains.
The third alternate flag was created by Fandom user Nothoughtsnogender on April 9, 2021. The colours represent the various shades of blue seen in storm clouds.
The current primary flag was created by TheonetrueRick#3397 on March 20th, 2021 as a replacement for the previous flags in order to capture the feeling of the gender better.
